The state of California has seen a scary increase in the number of swine flu deaths. They have reported a total of 55 deaths, but 23 of them have been in the past week. As you may recall, health officials had said the H1N1 virus may dissipate, or “go underground” in the summer months, as has been common with past pandemics.
