A Mediocre Morning

So I see we have not moved on to the super-scary Phase 6 yet.  But as the chart below helpfully illustrates, we are likely not far away.

Pandemic Phases

Developments:

– 154 confirmed cases world-wide

– Spain may have a person-to-person transmission which is important because “Spain falls in a different region from the United States and Mexico — the two countries that have until now shown human-to-human spread.”

– WHO spokesman: “We’re looking for intergenerational spread. So, that means from a traveler to a spouse to the butcher to the kindergarten, something like that — through generations of spread in one community.”

– Possible cases in New Zealand, France, South Korea, and Switzerland
